The protective cabin has a front door and two removable side hatches. Laser radiation is blocked by the cabin walls and protective glass, ensuring the safety of the operator (Class I laser safety).

This layout provides ample opportunities for integrating the marking head into existing production lines and mechanisms for automatic work.

All additional options and components (coordinate axes, rotary devices, position sensors, machine vision systems, etc.) can still be used with this layout.

The rotator is a special device designed to automatically rotate the workpiece during laser processing.

Different models of rotators are used for workpieces of different weight and size.

This is the most common option suitable for small workpieces.

Sturdy aluminum base with axial tilt function allows marking of tapered and ring-shaped items.

Air exhaust systems ensure the exhaust of air from the laser processing area and its subsequent purification from combustion products, smoke and odors.

Depending on the model, design and configuration of the laser system, Laser Center could recommend air exhaust systems from ULT (Germany), NEVA, or SovPlym (Russia).

LED illumination is installed in the lower part of the marking head. It provides additional illumination of the working area, greatly facilitating the work of the operator.

Focusing is the process of adjusting the position of the lens relative to the workpiece to achieve the best processing result. In our laser systems, a green auxiliary laser is built into the marking head at an angle to the optical axis of the lens, it helps to visually determine the position of the focal plane.

The system can be equipped with a special triangulation optical autofocus sensor to automate the focusing process. The operator does not have to use mechanical focus finders or colored LEDs - the result will be excellent with one click in the MaxiGraf software.

In laser processing systems, video cameras are used to overcome three challenges:

• Monitoring of the process
• Matching the processing program to the workpiece
• Detection and reading of barcodes

The selection of a video camera is carried out by the specialists of the Laser Center on a case by case basis for the specific needs of the client.

Laser systems can be equipped with a single axis table. The table expands the marking area and increases the overall dimensions of the workpiece. The combined use of two such tables allows to create a two-coordinate system that expands the processing field along the X and Y axes.

The KT70 2-axis table has a special base for easy fastening to the working area and is used for precise manual positioning of the workpiece during the marking process.

A system with a two or three position rotary table is used to speed up the processing and increase productivity. After the operator sets the workpiece on the table, the rotary mechanism transfers the workpiece to the processing area. The operator is protected with a special screen in accordance with Class I laser safety. When the processing is finished, the table mechanism rotates again, which allows to process several workpieces at the same time, if the operator pre-sets a new workpiece in the first position.

It is possible to expand the technological capabilities of the system with special 3-coordinate portals.

Such technical solutions complement the scanator system for the laser beam travel with linear axes, allowing to significantly expand the processing field.

The laser complex, manufactured for Kukmara Metalware Plant, included two laser marking systems of TurboMarker series with a single control center.

This complex marks the items simultaneously from 2 different sides without any additional movement of the item.

One system of TurboMarker series performs a wide range of tasks:

• marking of printed circuit boards and tooling;
• engraving of metal parts and panels;
• cutting brass sheets 0.3 and 0.4 mm thick;
• trimming the microcircuits' pins, etc.

The installation allowed to increase productivity by 250-300%.

Laser Center supplied a Turbomarker series system with a 6-position table. This system allows for continuous marking and replacing marked items without interrupting the marking process.
